Topic: Stencil Pop-Up Book

Learn a simple cut-and-fold book form and add in a pop-up element using a Turkish fold technique. Make a prototype to get the format down then hone your skills on the final book, adding color and shapes to your pages with stencils you create yourself. Youʻll leave with a finished original book full of imagery with space to add poetry, a story, or a letter to a friend.

  • In-class access to shared supplies such as: Stencil materials, bone folders, metal ruler, cutting mats, X-acto knives, pencils, PVA glue, brushes, ink pads, and stippling brushes.

$5 Fee will be taken for any Drop In Session cancellations to cover our processing fees. No cancellations accepted 7 days before a class.

Who is this workshop for?

This drop in workshop is designed for complete beginners and advanced artists. It is a great way to check out the new studio and better understand the resources that are available to participants. It requires no prior artistic or printmaking experience. This drop in Book Making experience takes about 1 hour and drop in participants are also welcome with a $20 cash fee.
