Intro to Linoleum Carving & Stamp Making
Location: Pa‘a Printmakers at Molokai Center Unit A111 40 Ala Malama Blvd., Kaunakakai, HI 96748
Focus: Linoleum carving for stamp making
Students will learn how to design, transfer, and carve onto linoleum blocks to create their own unique stamps. While also learning how to print onto paper using cranfield oil-based ink.

About the Artist:
Evarista Hiro- wife, mother of 3 and creator of @da.craftco: a craft collective featuring monthly craft club events for all things crafty. With the hope to provide the opportunities to bring more creativity into others’ lives, Rista creates a space for all- whether you are a beginner or a seasoned artist.
Who is this workshop for?
This workshop is designed for complete beginners and advanced artists. It is a great way to check out the new studio and better understand the resources that are available to participants. It requires no prior artistic or printmaking experience. Registering in advance helps us plan our supplies. These programs are supported by a program grant to help keep classes affordable.
