Use your previously created matrix in new ways. Incorporate innovative chin colle‘ techniques, inlay one printed image inside of another and try new collage techniques. This class is for printers who have plates, papers and prints they want to breathe new life into. Perfect for Botanical dry points on plexiglass, Intaglio on copper or Zinc and Relief processes like Mokuhanga.

Beginner printers and Advance printers are welcome.

Participant should bring their matrix(blocks and plates) and old print to the first day of class for discussion and ideas for direction.

A $50 supply fee paid by cash at the first class includes 1 Minʻs plastic plate for creating a shaped plate, several samples of ultra thin and expensive Chin Colle’ papers such as gampi for printing and 1 full size sheet of high quality printmaking paper, inks, wheat paste, shop supplies. Course includes 18 hours of instruction and the ability to work on class projects during open studio hours for 6 weeks.
