A mould-made printmaking paper composed of 60% cotton and 40% acid -free cellulose pulp, celebrated for its sumptuously soft, absorbent surface.
Papers are only available for sale in the studio to current members of HP and cannot be shipped.
Best Uses
Printmaking: Ideal for deep etching, aquatint, lithography, screen printing (silk-screening), and letterpress because the soft surface accepts heavy pressure and heavy ink loads uniformly.
Key Features
Composition: 60% cotton and 40% elemental chlorine-free wood pulp.
Surface: Un-sized (lacking external sizing), creating a soft, tactile vellum/natural grain finish that grabs ink exceptionally well.
Weights: Available in 220gsm and 285gsm.
Edges: Features two natural deckled edges on the long sides, with straight-trimmed short edges.
Watermark: Bears the Fabriano logo and trademark running parallel to the larger sides.
Archival Quality: Acid-free and ISO 9706 long-life certified to prevent yellowing over time.
