Print & Book Fair out-of-state vendor application

20.00

Honolulu Printmakers invites artists and publishers outside the state of Hawaii to submit an application to be a vendor at the Honolulu Printmakers 2017 Print & Book Fair, happening November 24 & 25. We have a limited number of tables reserved for out-of-state vendors, and are looking for individuals, presses, publishing cooperatives, etc. who have a compelling and articulate body of work, and who are interested in connecting with the print community in Hawaii.

Work that fits our parameters for the Fair includes but is not limited to: hand-pulled prints, artists' books, zines, self-published comics, handprinted posters, hand-bound books, self-released and self-fabricated music, etc.  Other forms and formats are acceptable as long as they reflect artistic independence, originality, a respect for print culture, and a diy ethos.

Those interested should fill out this form, linking to their website or online portfolio, and in a brief paragraph, describe their publishing or production activity, indicate what they would have on offer, and how they see their work complementing the Honolulu Printmakers Print & Book Fair. Applications will be accepted until August 15. The nonrefundable application fee is $20. Accepted vendors will be able to apply this towards their vendor fee ($75).

Final selections will be made by Travis Sasaki and Aly Ishikuni-Sasaki of Mori by Art & Flea. Notification of selected vendors will happen on or before August 31, 2017. Those selected must agree to register and pay the vendor fee, and be on-site for the duration of the event. Selected vendors are responsible for all expenses related to participation.
